Regeneration is at the heart of what we do. For us, this includes a primary focus on people and place as well as productivity. Therefore our work takes into account the complexities of social and economic development and the need for the effective integration of interventions, whether it is about inclusion, skills, enterprise or physical development.
We believe that the regeneration process is best served by an approach that understands the often competing agendas that need to be brought together for true partnership working. This requires the active involvement of public sector partners as well as the active engagement of the third sector. It should also harness private sector involvement, not only through corporate social responsibility activities, but as an integral part of the process.
